French houses Hermès and Christian Lacroix are both introducing new tableware!! Choosing the month of January, also period when the Maison et Objet home ware show is taking place in the capital, to launch their new tableware items.
Behoit-Pierre Emery, who previously created silk carré scarves for the brand, designed the vintage-style porcelain collection inspired by the Chaine d'ancre, a style used on the straps of some of the Hermès leather goods. The Rallye 24 collection features colorful racing tracks on 49 different tableware pieces.
The Christian Lacroix Maison line features a mix-and-match of four different themes, from watercolor stripes to parades of butterflies. This is the first porcelain line for the house.
