So it's official!! The Luxury group PPR invested in Christopher Kane's brand. We have been following the story and talked to you guys about it and now it's a done deal: PPR has acquired 51% of Kane's label. The formed Versus designer is now joigning Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Balenciaga's group. Kane, now working of his second RTW collection and building his e-commerce presence, plans to go into leather goods and footwear, and to expend his brand globally. Rumors of his first store, probably in London in 2014, are already out.
