Karl Lagerfeld's stand on same sex marriage
The Chanel designer, Karl Lagerfeld, chose to take a stand during his Chanel Couture S/S 2013 finale, last Tuesday, supporting gay marriage on the runway. For the moment in France, the question has raised a lot of controversy, as the Prime Minister, Francois Hollande, plans to legalize gay marriage, and the famous designer decided to get involved, putting two matching brides on his runway. A child is also walking with down them, suggesting he is also taking a stand for the right to adopt.
Memorable makeup at Dior's Coutre S/S show
For the Dior Couture S/S 2013 runway show, last Monday, british makeup artist Pat McGrath created special red and purple lips, with applied crystals, paired with a natural and glamorous eye.
Jean Paul Gaultier's super cute finale
Jean Paul Gaultier gave us a special finale, last Wednesday, for his Couture S/S 2013 collection. The designer sent out a beautiful bride, who lifted up her ivory catwalk-wide skirt, to reveal four little girls, brightly dressed, hiding beneath. They went running down the catwalk as the bride walked behind them.
